FRANCE GETS THE MUSIC
On Thursday, February 15, at Cheatham Street Warehouse, between Ryan James’ and Wade Bowen’s gigs, Dr. Gary Hartman (Director of the Center for Texas Music History at San Marcos University) presented Georges Carrier, the president of the Country Rendez-Vous Festival in France with a plaque gratefully acknowledging him and the festival for supporting Texas Musicians and for playing an important role in shaping Texas Music History. Vive la France et la Texas Music!
